| The Netherlands has a significant problem with foreign nationals living in the country. Due to a large influx over a short period of time, almost 10% of the population is now of non Dutch origin. The main problem with this influx is the fact that these immigrants do not speak Dutch (sufficiently) and do not fully understand the mores of the country. This is one of the reasons for high unemployment among the immigrants and a feeling of unease among the Dutch. Abbatía has developed an innovative training programme aimed at this group. The programme is a mixture of Dutch, relevant cultural aspects and job seeking skills training. Once again we use traditional classroom training clases in combination with e-Learning.
